Hey guys. So I've seen a lot of players report players on forums, but most of them aren't doing it properly, so I've decided to make this thread in order to explain and hopefuly give you guys some useful hints and tips when reporting players here.
Ban evaders
-If you want to report a ban evader, make sure you have enough proof that they are ban evading. you can have either a screenshot of a player asking online for admins to unban him/her along with their banned name.
-If you take a screenshot of a player's name, there is a small chance that they aren't ban evading but some player using the same name.
-Always try to get a screenshot of them admitting to ban evading. This will help in a player report.
Health Hackers
-Posting screenshots when reporting these hackers is useless as we can't see them getting shot at or they might be bugged.
- Unfortunately there is a bug that can give players infinite health so we will need to test them ingame to make sure that they are not bugged.
Fly Hacks
-if you can catch them while flying in the sky position (most common one) take a screen and that should be enough.
-Alternatively, you can also record a small video.
Weapon Hackers
-A screenshot of them holding the weapon or even shooting it is more than enough proof.
What you can and not do in a player report
1) Make sure you follow the template. (Your topic may be locked if you do not use the template)
2) Always support the staff member's verdict. Don't argue with their decision.
3) We don't accept a friend posting he saw the reported player. This would be invalid proof, if he provides a screenshot/video then it would be valid.
4) Do not flame the reported player, or any of the staff members.
5) Do not make multiple topics for the same person
6) Do not post unless you have extra evidence (which can help the staff decide if the reported player is guilty or innocent).
Saying I saw this guy hacking will not help.
9)If you are the reported player you can post to provide you are not guilty however do not flame the reporter or staff.
Note: If you see someone talking about using hacks and you report them, make sure you have evidence of them hacking. Sometimes people can claim to use hacks to get attention. If you post just a screenshot of the player claiming to hack, it is not sufficient evidence to ban the player.
